Charitable IRA Legislation Extended Through 2009Extended charitable IRA legislation allows you to make gifts to Georgian Court by transferring funds from your IRA without incurring tax consequences. You can accomplish the gifts by contacting your IRA plan administrator –and the transfers are not included in your taxable income and are not tax-deductible. | EventsMiddlesex County Alumni Chapter Blue Ribbon Pie Contest  Date: November 22, 2009 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM The Middlesex County Alumni Chapter will be having a Blue Ribbon Pie Contest on Sunday, November 22, at the home of Jennifer Romeo in Monroe, New Jersey. Do you have a favorite pie recipe that you’re proud of? Or perhaps you just fancy tasting pies? It’ll be a “berry” good time for all (new members are welcome)! A Christmas Carol Radio Reenactment Date: December 04, 2009 to December 06, 2009 Georgian Court welcomes back this reenactment of a 1939 radio presentation of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol. 2nd Annual Victorian Christmas Festival & Gift Boutique Date: December 04, 2009 10:00 AM to December 06, 2009 4:00 PM Echoing last year’s Victorian theme, event activities and performances will reflect the Victorian era. Georgian Court’s historic Casino will be the perfect setting for the gift boutique, which will feature gift items and crafts presented by local vendors and artisans. Other traditional holiday activities will include pictures with Santa, children’s activity stations, and special interactive model railroad exhibitions featuring Thomas the Tank Engine, the Polar Express, and Harry Potter, presented by the Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders. 10th Annual Christmas at The Court Date: December 13, 2009 1:00 PM Get in the holiday spirit with the delightful sounds of the Orchestra of Saint Peter by the Sea, conducted by Father Alphonse Stephenson, at Georgian Court University.
