Who Benefits from the Program? No matter what your area of undergraduate study—psychology, chemistry, English, communications, education—in the real world, all fields have a business component. An understanding of budgets, accounting, and management processes increases your marketability as a job applicant and will prove invaluable as you advance through your career. For students who are undergraduate business majors, the M.B.A. capitalizes on your academic momentum, giving you an advanced education that prepares you to take on managerial tasks right from the start.
When Does it Start? Applicants who will graduate in May 2010 with a B.A. in business must commit to full-time study in the M.B.A. program for Fall 2010. Applicants who are not undergraduate business majors will be required to take additional courses in business to prepare for the program. A special schedule has been set up to allow you |
to take courses during the Spring 2010 semester and through the Summer I and Summer II sessions. Either route allows you to be ready to begin the M.B.A. program in Fall 2010.
How Do I Apply? Candidates interested in taking advantage of this scholarship opportunity should: (1) complete and submit the application for the M.B.A. program (the standard $40 application fee will be waived); (2) arrange for official submission of all previous undergraduate transcripts; and (3) submit two letters of recommendation as well as a current résumé. Once the application and other materials are reviewed, candidates may schedule an interview with a program director/advisor.
